The mixed-game maestro has done it again. Bryce Yockey captured his third World Series of Poker bracelet on Tuesday, taking down the $10,000 Dealers Choice Championship at the Horseshoe Las Vegas. The victory cements Yockey’s reputation as one of the most versatile players on the circuit, as he outlasted a field of 88 of the world’s top mixed-game specialists.

The three-day event featured a rotating selection of 19 poker variants, from familiar Hold’em and Omaha to esoteric games like Badugi and 2-7 Triple Draw. Yockey entered the final table as the chip leader and never relinquished control, eventually defeating four-time bracelet winner Daniel Idema in heads-up play to claim the $311,428 top prize. This marks Yockey’s third bracelet, adding to his wins in 2015 and 2021, and moves him to 12th on the all-time mixed-game earnings list.

“I’ve been working on my game for years, and it feels amazing to win this event against such a tough field,” Yockey said in a post-victory interview. “The $10K Dealer’s Choice is a real test of skill. Every hand you have to adjust to a new game, and you can’t afford to have a single leak.” The win was particularly emotional for Yockey, who dedicated the bracelet to his late father, a poker player himself.
