Jason Daly Wins Third WSOP Bracelet in Omaha Eight-or-Better Event (US)

Jason Daly is proving he’s a force in mixed games. The seasoned pro captured his third career World Series of Poker bracelet this week, taking down Event #X (the $1,500 Omaha Eight-or-Better) at the Horseshoe Las Vegas. Daly’s victory adds to a resume that already includes two previous WSOP titles and cements his status as one of the most consistent Omaha players on the circuit.
The tournament attracted a field of 789 entrants, generating a prize pool of just over $1 million. After three days of play, Daly emerged from the final table to claim the top prize of $211,000 along with the coveted gold bracelet. The heads-up battle saw Daly outlast a tough opponent, with the final hand seeing him scoop a massive pot holding A-2-3-4 double-suited, which made both a low and a flush to seal the victory.
“I’ve been playing Omaha eight-or-better for over 10 years, so it feels amazing to finally get another bracelet in this game,” Daly told reporters after the win. “The field was incredibly deep, but I kept my focus and got the right cards at the right time.” His ability to read opponents and adjust to the split-pot format proved decisive on a final table that included several well-known names.
